Avi Weisfogel: Making Smiles a Daily Habit

Avi Weisfogel is someone that knows a thing or two about smiles and smiling for that matter. After all, he is a dentist, so he places a premium on improving smiles and keeping smiles intact. It is something he takes incredibly seriously. He knows he can really change a person’s life for the better. Some people have teeth issues because of bad genes and they can’t help that. However, did you know that a lot of people can’t afford the proper dental care? That is right. It is a harsh but true reality. It is especially hard on children and young adults.

It isn’t like someone under the age of sixteen can just go out and get a job. That is where someone like Avi Weisfogel comes in, as he recently set up a GoFundMe Campaign to help Operation Smile, which is an international medical charity providing free surgical procedures for children. Not only do they help children, but they help young adults as well.

When it comes to young adults, they take care of cleft palate, cleft lips and other facial deformities. These are tough things for young adults to deal with, each and every day. We have all been in high school and we know how tough and cruel some kids can be when it comes to any sort of thing being wrong with us. They look at it as a chance to poke fun at someone and make their life miserable. However, with Avi and Operation Smile setting the goal of $2,000, anything can happen.

Children can walk with their head held high and have loads and loads of confidence. Nothing can get in the way and no one can pick on them. They can get that job they want if they are a young adult or build up their self esteem as a young child. It is great when someone gives back and thinks of someone other than themselves. It is a rarity in today’s world, but when it happens, it is a wonderful thing. That is the kind of person that Avi Weisfogel is. He knows that a picture and a smile is worth a thousand words.
