Cassio Audi is from Brazil were he and four other teenagers aged 13 and 14 years old created a band called the Vipers in the 80s. The other band members were Yves Passarell, Pit Passarell, Andre Machado and Felipe Machado. Influenced by the Iron Maden, a british heavy metal band, the Vipers genres were heavy metal, thrash metal, power metal, and alternative rock.
The vipers were often commended for their skill and talent as musicians, Cassio Audi being the drummer. They are also a major contributor to bringing heavy metal music to the Latin American community.
Their first demo album was recorded in 1985, The Killer Sword. Then in 1987 their first album came out called Soldiers Of Sunrise. In that time Cassio Audi features in both albums, and even wrote one of the songs for Soldiers Of Sunrise. Their second album was released in 1989 called Theatre of Fate. This album was not only released in Brazil, but also Europe, USA, and Asia where it also quickly rose through the ranks in the charts. Even though Cassio Audi was not active in the recording and release of the second album he was a major contributor to the band’s success.
