Hawaii Proposes Ban of Coral-Damaging Sunscreen

Hawaii may become the first state to ban sunscreen with ingredients that harm marine life. The "Aloha State" is considering Senate Bill 2571, a bill that will prevent sunscreens with oxybenzone and octinate without a prescription. These are ingredients that have been found to contribute to coral bleaching and stunted growth of undersea creatures. Church Pays Off Over $10 Million in Medical Debt for Local Texas Families

Covenant Church gave over $100,000 to pay off over $10 million in medical debt for families located near their four locations in Texas. Over 4,000 families in North Texas had their medical debt eliminated near the Easter holidays. The amount was arrived at because the church normally sets aside a large amount of money for advertising for their Resurrection Sunday services.
