Scientists Find New Breeding Ground of Rare Indochinese Tiger

Scientists and conservationists have reported finding a second breeding population of Indochinese tigers in a jungle in Thailand. They have also released photographs of the cubs as proof.   Indochinese tigers are a critically endangered subspecies. According to Panthera, a conservation group, Freeland, an anti-trafficking organization, and the Department of National Parks of Thailand, there are only 221 Indochinese tigers left in the wild. They are found only in Myanmar and Thailand, and their only other breeding ground is Thailand’s Huai Kha Khaeng wildlife sanctuary.   The surveyors had been…

When NYPD Officer Martin Constanza approached his boss about the precinct adopting an abandoned cat, the request was far from a done deal, despite the cuteness of the cat in question. Under normal circumstances, having a seizure while driving can be dangerous or outright fatal. For one driver in Harris County, Texas this week, it was a near miss.   The male driver apparently had a seizure while driving around the 300 block of Cobia Drive in Harris County, near I-10 at about 6:45 in the morning.
