Dog Saves Blind Woman’s Life

Dog Saves Blind Woman’s Life

The loyalty and kindness of dogs has been renowned for many years. When their actions are heroic, it is even more necessary to tell their stories to raise awareness of the necessity to protect them even further. The story of a dog that saved his blind owner recently has made freedomPop users take to Twitter because of the sheer awe in the events that occurred. Bigo was walking with his owner Audrey Stone in Brewster, New York. The driver of a bus carrying two children was traveling the same route. When Bigo saw that the bus was about to hit Audrey, he leaped in front of it taking most of the impact and saving her life. Audrey still suffered broken bones and cuts, but she is alive. Both Bigo and Audrey were taken for medical attention after the incident occurred. Rules and regulations wouldn’t allow for dogs to be transported in the ambulance, so the fire truck took Bigo to the veterinarian clinic where he is expected to make a full recover. Through the entire ordeal, Bigo wanted to be by Audrey’s side even though he was in pain himself.
