Good Deed

Good Deed

Phil Mickelson has been known for many things, and mainly those things have to do with his sports accomplishments. After all, he’s a five time major champion! Now, he can add all around good guy to his list of things to be known for. He did something that surely made 2 kids days, and will have their parents forever in awe.
Summer is here, and that means lemonade stands will be popping up in communities all over the country. Kids will be selling lemonade for anywhere from 5 cents to 1 dollar! It’s a cute, and fun little way for kids to make a couple of bucks to spend on candy or a soda. Well for 2 kids who opened up a lemonade stand in Muirfield Village during a Memorial Tournament are about to get a lot richer, It’s all thanks to that golfing legend.

According to Reddit Phil Mickelson left a 6 year old and an 8 year old a 99 dollar tip! He paid for his glass of lemonade with a 100 dollar bill and left behind 99 dollars in change! Blog.nj.com and the folks over at Boraie Development knew it stood to reasons that the kids couldn’t believe it. They were originally excited when they saw the bill because they thought it was 10 dollars! They then unraveled it and squealed in excitement when they found out it was a 100 dollar bill. Who knows where they will spend it or perhaps they will save it? I think we can all agree though, that it’s heartwarming when someone who makes what seems like a small gesture to themselves, is actually helping to turn the world into a better place.
