James ‘Jim’ Dondero: The Iconic CEO Of Highland Capital Holdings

In February, 2016 James Dondero’s Highland Capital posted their fund portfolio which covers an estimate of 22.73% of the assets that they manage in the US. The said assets are estimated at over 15.4 dollars which represents the 22.73% of Highland Capital’s total assets. In its quarterly review the company has reported managing new companies including Spdr S&P EtfTr(call) (spy) for 67.07 million dollars accumulating 69 new stocks. During the year the company sold some old stock resulting that formed all of its stake in Spdr Series Trust. The company listed an increase in participation in the information sector which rose from 16% to 18%. It also has shares in the energy sector listing it at 12%.

James Dondero is one of the most experienced hedge fund managers in the world. He co-founded Highland Capital which is a force to reckon with globally. The hedge fund management firm is worth over 15 billion US dollars. Jim is an excellent decision maker and a renowned business tactician serving as a board member in various institutions such as in the directorship of NexBank SSB and MGM Holdings Inc. He is a former student of the University of Virginia where he obtained his BS degree. Jim is an iconic manager with a gift of managing hedge funds and investment firms. His great leadership style has made him steer all the companies he has been in towards great success.
