Perry Mandera: A model for Entrepreneurship and Service

Successful entrepreneur, Perry Mandera understands the value of generosity, and service. Mr. Mandera’s dedication to service, starts at the beginning of his career in logistics. In 1975, Perry Mandera enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he gained leadership skills, and an interest in shipping and logistics. Being involved in the transportation of Marines, and supplies, he saw the effects his job had on the greater objectives of the Marine Corps. In consequence, Mr. Mandera sees the significance of making a difference in people’s lives.

This carries into Mr. Mandera’s current charitable pursuits. He allocates much of his money towards altruistic causes. Mr. Mandera is particularly passionate about assisting veterans, and troubled youth. He is also contributes time and money to medical research, specifically cancer research. Perry Mandera is a devout Christian, him and his family have participated in charitable activities through their church.

Perry Mandera is able to contribute to these undertakings, because of his entrepreneurial success. Again, his service in the U.S. Marine Corps was a key starting point in his career. His experience driving trucks, and overseeing logistics gave him a foundation for his career in transportation and logistics.

After serving honorably in the Marine Corps, Mandera continued honing his leadership skills, by running for public office. He served as a Republican Ward Committeeman in Chicago, before founding The Custom Companies, Inc. in 1986. Currently, Mandera utilizes innovative technology to serve his numerous clients throughout the Midwest, and the larger United States,

Logistics is a dynamic, and constantly changing industry. Mandera has stated the importance of innovation, and investment in keeping up with the changing times. Consistently innovating, and investing in capital improvements is a key driver of Mandera’s success.
