Meet the president Flavio Maluf:
Flavio Maluf is the president and CEO of Eucatex. Mr. Maluf has a Bachelors degree from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado in mechanical engineering. He is also a lawyer and an entrepreneur. He was born to political Brazilian parents in 1961. He holds the title of president at a company called GrandFood group to this day.
Flavio Maluf began his career with Eucatex in the trade department for the company beginning in 1987. He quickly became an executive of the company and with hard work and much positive results soon became the president.
How Eucatex Began:
In November of 1951, Eucatex was born. Avozdavitoria told that it was the very first Brazilian company to take the environment into consideration when creating its product. In fact, it was one of the only companies doing this in the Western world at the time. They were also the first to think of comfort in regards to acoustics and the first to use eucalyptus in the production of acoustic ceiling tiles and panels.
It wasn’t long before the Eucatex humble beginnings exploded into a staggering production capacity of 100 tons a day. In 1965 it expanded its product into Europe and exports successfully to this day. Soon, by 1966 Eucatex would open branch offices in the United Kingdom, Germany, the US and Mexico. The 4 categories Eucatex handles is Metal, Forestry, Wood and Mineral.
Where they are today:
Another factory has been added in Salto, Brazil which has developed a complete line of paints and varnishes. They recently began creating doors and separation panels as well.
