Being a headteacher has never been easy. Nobody hides that, and though, few dare to write their real thought and life events related to this job. Viv Grant, who ascended in the career as far as to become a leader of Integrity Coaching, orientated towards instructing school leaders, said that her path was not easy at all. She started out at a very early age as a headteacher, which many in her family and school had not expected being given her racial provenience and the years, which were a total disadvantage at that time in London.
The powerful experiences that she had now and then, including getting scolded by parents who said that she did not have better things to do with her time coming to their house and telling them how to educate their son, led to her creating a number of values. Wikipedia said that among the rules that Viv set for herself was to put her needs first, as it was impossible to serve others, solving conflicts as soon as they appear (especially the ones regarding bullies or abusive behavior from the parents), finding fellow professionals who are accommodating and whom you can talk to, not allowing the agenda to be filled in with meetings one right after another, as that does not give time to even think about them.
